Historic Farming Record

A Historic Environment Farm Environment Record (HEFER) is a list of historic and archaeological features on a land holding. It also includes advice on how to protect and enhance these features. Farmers and land managers can request a HEFER if they are applying to the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme.
