In the 2025 book Walking Together with You Forever, Kabosu-chan, Atsuko Sato—better known as Kabosu Mama—shares a charming memory about Kabosu, the Shiba Inu behind the legendary Doge meme. One day, Sato dressed Kabosu in a bright green hoodie, and Kabosu seemed to love it so much that she refused to move when Sato tried to take it off. Amused by her reaction, Sato began affectionately calling her “Hoodie-chan.”
